I've bought a new Lenovo Yoga 710 laptop, where at specification is told, that one of its features is 256Gb SSD; Today, when I've opened "This PC" folder, I noticed, that systems shows only 106Gb of total space .
what could be the problem? - wrong drivers / damaged SSD / other fail? - see attached pics for better understanding.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
You can check on the details of the parts using your serial number here on the parts lookup page.
Try to look for the solid state disk from the listed parts.
Keeping the serial number confidential, please share your machine number instead for verification.
Usual for machine preloaded with OEM image is the One Key Recovery System (chapter 3).
"To utilize the features of the OneKey Recovery System, your hard disk already includes a hidden partition by default to store the system image file and the OneKey Recovery System program files. This default partition is hidden for security reasons, which explains why the available disk space is less than the stated capacity."
You may likewise check and snapshot disk management tool for viewing specific partitions.

Thank you for help!
I checked disk manager and found out that more than 100Gb space was unallocated; strange that it happened so...
I formatted it and now can use all this space =) - thank you very much!

Great that you were able to use the disk management tool to locate the missing space from your 256GB SSD.
I am sure you would find the additional capacity usefull.
