Yoga 710IKB white "burn-in"

A couple days ago, my screen started flickering B&W shades.

Today I used it all morning, no problems. When I came back from lunch, there's a white blur taking almost the whole screen.

Looks a lot like those burn-in that happened in old screens. Sometimes I can even see faint details of windows that were opened, very much like it, although those are not permanent and sometimes disappear.

I've attached a picture of my screen.

Re: Yoga 710IKB white "burn-in"

Hi Andreortigao,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Connect the laptop to an external display to compare the same burn in image if persistent.

Shut down and press the Novo button and check the display.

If the burn in do not appear in the external monitor but is also persistent after pressing the Novo button screen then probable LCD issue maybe the point of failure.

You can call in technical support for in-warranty repair option.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Re: Yoga 710IKB white "burn-in"

Just took my notebook to repair.

It does not show the burn in on external monitor... Might as well be the cable that connects to the LCD.

I'll have the technician solution in a few days, and I'll post here what he says.

Thanks.
