I see that multiple people have had the same issue with their touch screen not working. I have had this issue on my Yoga 720-12IKB Laptop (ideapad) - Type 81B5 for several months and tried multiple things. My computer is completely uptodate.
I've spent hours reading posts/forums, trying different things, nothing works, and I am completely frustrated.
Any one found a solution yet?

I have this same issue. As for a list of things I have done
1. updated bios/drivers
2. downgraded windows(mine happened to bug out shortly after windows update)
3. Wiped hard drive and did a clean install of windows.
After checking the touchscreen driver in device management I one of the two following codes, the seccond being less common than the first:
-This device cannot start. A request for the HID desciptor failed. (code 10)
-This device cannot start STATUS_DEVICE_DATA_ERROR (code 10)
I really would like this laptop to work like it should. Can't really afford to buy a new one.
