Yoga 720 Battery Draining While Powered Off

My Yoga 720-15IKB has recently started to completely drain the battery when the system is powered off. I will power the system down with a 100% charge, let it sit overnight, and then start the computer in the morning. The system boots up and the battery gauge initially reads 100%, but within a few minutes I get a low power warning and the PC shuts off automatically.

This has just started happening, so I'm not sure if it is a software/BIOS update or if I have a faulty battery. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have "fast startup " turned on?  if yes turn off and check again.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a shot and see if that resolves the issue.
