I have purchased two yoga 720 15 4ks from Best Buy, one which shipped from out of state and one I bought in state after the first one had issues. Both developed a screen issue of some sort of black bar appearing on the top right corner of the screen. The display model at Best Buy had the same problem. Does anyone know what this is, and has anyone else had this problem?

I have the exact same black line issue. Possibly at the same slight angle. Been through 3 different 720's from Best Buy all with the same issue. I hope lenovo either honors this seemingly regular issue with these models and takes care of mine or finds a solution...

OK...three is a charm...
Yup.. got the same issue. Exact same line and line location. This just appeared four weeks after my purchase. Hope this doesnt get any worse. Bought from Best Buy as well.
What is strange is that snipping tool doesnt capture the issue. Here is a tool clip vs an actual picture. Also seems that there is some curvature in the top of the middle of the screen. The green outline disappears toward the center.
Lenovo...got a fix?

I bought a YOGA 720 -15IKB (15.6”, 4K) from Best Buy last Saturday 7/8/2017. It has exactly the same slightly skewed black bar in the top right corner of the display.
The bar looks to be about 4-6 pixels tall (see attached photo of screen).
Not sure when it started, but I don’t think it did this fresh out of the box. Seems like it might have started after installing the Win10 updates, but that could be a coincidence.
I don’t think the BIOS display pages quite fill the display vertically, which may explain why the black bar doesn’t show on the BIOS pages.
I tried various screen resolutions with no impact, the black bar was always there (at least with the integrated HD 630 graphics).
Does anybody have an external monitor they can hookup to test this with? It would be interesting to know if the black bar showed up on an external monitor.

The black line won't show on BIOS page. can't tell whether it's a software or hardware issue.
Could I ask others to check that this isn't present in BIOS as FO wrote and post the result here once you have done so.
