I'm having an intermitten problem with my Yoga 720-15lKB (Best Buy Model) Would really love to hear if anyone has experienced anything like it and what might be done about it.
Occasionally I get freezes where it won't respond to keyboard, trackpad or (via usb dongle) mouse input, but if anything on screen is playing such as a video it will continue, so I don't think it is GPU related.
A quick solution I've found is to close the laptop lid for a few seconds, then re-open it and login from the lock screen, and everything works normally again. Obviously not ideal, but at least I don't have to do a full reboot.
Fully updated to Creator's Update and all other Windows updates, latest drivers from the lenovo apps. Lastest BIOS too.
Any help would be awesome.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
I think this may be due to the creators update, if you have a look on the following site, it appears that your device is not listed (or I`m blind) in the list of devices tested for the newest update:
I would recommend that you revert back to the previous version of Windows and observe if the issue persists or not.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
Did someone help you today? Thank them with a Kudo!

Had this problem for 3 weeks. Try different thinks but nothing worked.
Solved problem finally by installing Lenovo suggested Intel display driver version 21. Windows update had installed Intel display driver version 22. This version 22 display driver is what causes the freeze problem.
Please go to https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-720-15ikb/download... (in cause you have my same laptop, if not go to https://support.lenovo.com, click on Downloads and enter the serial number of your laptop) and download the Intel Display driver. Install it, reboot and problem goes away!

As of around 3 weeks ago version 21 was available in Lenovo web site. It was the only version available. Now Lenovo only has version 22 available. I downloaded it and installed it when it became available 3 weeks and the freeze problem came back. :-| luckily windows allowed me to revert to the previously installed driver (version 21 built on March 2017) and problem went away.

Purchased a Yoga 720 15.6" Feb 2018. Unit locks up once or twice a day after having AC power connected for some time. Discovered that I could return it to normal function by just removing the AC power! I will live with this for now since I don't want to be without it for repair time, hoping some future software update will remedy it.
