Yoga 720 Touchscreen Not Working

Dear All,

 

as many of you, I am also facing an issue with my new Lenovo Yoga 720 15'. Suddenly my Touchscreen is not working anymore. Of course, I tried to search a solution on the web, but until now, I was not lucky. Some of you mentioned; it's an HW issue, but some else also wrote, it's due to Windows 10 upgrade. Do we have more information now? Were you able to find a solution?

 

At the moment I decided to contact Lenovo directly and let's see what they will tell me.

If you look in the Device manager, does it show any problem devices?

If you haven't, already, download and install Lenovo Vantage from the Windows Store. Let it look for and install any driver updates and BIOS updates. 

 

Which Windows version are you using? Some users report that the latest BIOS with Win 10 1803 fixes the issue. 

 

If not, there are several things to try before sending it in.

thank you so much for your reply :)

 

this is what Lenovo's Service Desk told me to do, but they also mentioned to format my PC. I will try this week and let's see the result because otherwise, I do not have more option :( it's a bit annoying because the PC is now...

 

I will let you know in order to share the final solution :)
