Yoga 720 and conservation mode

2018-03-27, 9:08 AM

i've recently bought a yoga720 and i found the conservation mode in Lenovo Vantage. I think that option is great but i didn't understand if i have to keep the laptop charged all day long or once it reaches 55-60% i have to disconnect it and then charge it again when it goes back to 10 - 15% battery . many thanks

Conservation Mode stretches the lifetime of the battery for those who, like me, leave the thing plugged in most of the time. So, no, you don't need to unplug it once it hits 60%. I turn off Conservation Mode a few hours before I know I'm going to travel and need full capacity. That lets it charge to 100%.  If I'm going to take it off the charger for a shorter time, I leave Conservation Mode on.
