Hi Matthew136! Welcome to Community Forums. Could you share us the exact model of your machine? So we could check for the specific driver, we have different variants of this model. Did the issue happen after an update? Try to flush the flea power in the motherboard and load BIOS defaults. To do this, shutdown the computer, once it's off, you need to disconnect everything connected. Push & hold the power button for 10 seconds to drain the power, then plug the charger (don't turn on the computer). Push the tiny pinhole that has an upside down U symbol on the left or right side of the laptop (use a pin or paperclip). Choose BIOS setup then enter. Press Fn & F9 or F9 button on the keyboard at the same time. Load optimized defaults, choose YES then hit enter. Press Fn & F10 or F10, exit saving changes, YES then hit enter again. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Matthew136! Another support here to help. We appreciate you for trying the steps and updating us back. In order for us to identify if this is a hardware issue or a software issue, let us boot your laptop into Safe Mode. While in Safe Mode check if the touchscreen is working and if the laptop is still lagging. Let us know what you'll find out.

We appreciate you for trying out the steps. Let's check if you can see the touchscreen under the Device Manager. If it can still recognize the touchscreen, we can further perform troubleshooting steps. If not, the laptop will need a repair. I have checked that there is no International Warranty Service for this laptop in Jamaica. You can check it here https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/iwslookup. In the meantime, you can disable the touchscreen and request for repair once you are back in the US. However, if you would like to return the laptop, the return policy will apply. Did you purchase the laptop from our Official US website?

And also it does still recognize the touchscreen and eveything in the pic

I see. We would also like to clarify if the touchpad or keyboard are still responsive when the touchscreen stops working? Since you mentioned that it sometimes lag, we would just like to clarify if the touchscreen was really not working at that time, or if the laptop already froze.
Also, our Limited Warranty could only provide repair once a Hardware issue has been confirmed: https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/thinkcentre_pdf/l505-0010-02_en_update.pdf
