It's my wife's laptop so i'm not sure when it stopped working (the touch feature), but it seems to completely stopped working. I've done all the suggestions that have come up on google searches (enable/disable as well as uninstall/reinstall the HID touchscreen driver)...updated Windows (Windows 1909), ran the Lenovo updates, etc (I'm a IT support guy, so i don't think i've missed any obvious steps...I even did the power off/hold power button down for 1 min thing...still no joy.
Device Manager doesn't show that the device is giving off any errors...it's just not working (in laptop or tablet mode).

Since you have already tried a lot of steps, Try testing the touch capability under the Recovery Menu, If the touchscreen still doesn't work under the Recovery Menu then it's a hardware issue. Access this by the Novo Button shown below.

My daughter's lenovo 730 13ikb is having the same issue with touchscreen not working. Just started a week ago.
We updated to Windows 10 1909, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, etc.
Used the novo button and the touchscreen does not work on that startup/BIOS screen either. In either tablet/laptop mode.
Is there anything else we can try?
