Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

I have the same problem. Is this a software problem or a hardware problem?
I've read what you wrote about Device Manager, I've attached an image, is it OK or not?

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

It is okay. It used to be two HIDs and the PS2, but I just updated to version 1809, hoping that would fix it. It changed to just one HID and one PS2, but no errors.

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

Glad it worked for you. It did not for me. I updated to version 1809 hoping that would fix it. The update removed the extra keyboard, but did nt fix the problem.

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

Glad it worked for you. I saw the extra keyboard, but did the update to version 1809 instead of deleting it because I had seen no message about deleting it. Now there is only one keyboard, but same problems.

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

Maybe if you use the lenovo website to update your drivers (again) it will give you back the 2nd faulty keyboard on device manager... which then would allow you delete the keyboard (and MAKE SURE to select option to delete the drivers, too, if it asks).

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

The Lenovo website only has one driver for Mouse, Pen, and Keyboard - the Wacom Active Pen Driver. Do you think that is it?

Re: Yoga 730 TouchPad not work after Windows update

Thank you gambit007. My life is complete now, especially after doing a clean install of W10 to eliminate the bloatware. My 730 is running as it should fast and quiet, now with a touchpad.
