How did it start? After updating to the newest Windows 10 1903?

Thanks for your response. Even after the windows update, it was fine until some time. A couple of days back when I was using it, the laptop shut down on its own. It just went off (not the windows shutdown, more like a PC going off when plug is removed). The problem started then. Whatever I'd do the laptop won't charge. Then I shut it down removed the adapter and pressed the power button for 30 seconds. The photos are from the powering on that followed.

Seems like a battery issue to me. Are you using Yoga 730-13IWL or another model? I would consider bringing the laptop to a Lenovo Service Center if I were you.

Thanks again. I went to a service center too. Sadly, the only solution they have is to either replace the motherboard or the battery. And the model is 13IKB.

The same exact issue I have with my yoga 730 13 inches.

even though I keet all the os updated, the battery sometimes won't charge until it dies by itself :(

Try to find the fix but found none, and seems Lenovo don't bother either to fix it.

This is for sure my last Lenovo purchase.

I just began having this problem with a Yoga 920-13lKB, today.

I updated Windows on 7/31/2019 to Windows 10 version 1903.

My battery is so dead, in fact, that the computer doesn't even register it.

Were either of you able to fix this?

Hi,

The same exact issue happend to me when I've added some Ram on my lenovo ideapad 110-15isk 80ud.

I've spent a few hours not finding any fixes and either than change battery, update bios, uninstall driver, but nothing fixed it:)))

Anyway, what worked for me was:

r

- I took out my keyboard again and just underneath it you will find 3 data cables, one for battery, one for Ram I guess and also another one which I have no clue what it does

- I took them all out of their slots and put them back in

- I've booted my computer without the power charger in and like a miracle, IT WORKED hahahha

Hope it works for you as well, if you haven't took it to a service or bought another one :)))

Have a nice day!

Dragos
