Hi VladimirCRO and welcome to the community,

This is a HP adaptor and designed to work with HP units. Yes all the cables should be the same and work with all machines but it could be that the design for the HP ones is slightly different.

Have you tried a different cable with the unit?

Hope this help you and let us know how you get on

Re: Yoga 900 -13ISK2 USB-C port display error

when I plug adapter (without cable) immediately error massage pops up...  cable was not a problem ...     everything I tried trough software changes, nothing helped...

I just got the original "Lenovo USB-C to HDMI adapter"... works great !!!

The problem is definitely  power requirement. Lenovo adapter works on 5 (+/-5%) , V current and 350mA ... HP adapter requires higher voltage.  It is absolute nonsense: if the "USB typ C" is standard how to be differences from manufacturer to manufacturer ?!?!?!?

We should figure out which voltage provides USB-C Lenovo output, and therefore look for adapters to suit... should not buy adapters from other manufacturers without this information.

Well, I hope this will help someone...

Thanx and bye...
