Hi George,

Welcome to the Forums

Check these steps below:

1. Make sure you didn't inadvertenly press the screen rotation lock button (just next to the volume rocker) in tablet mode. Try toggleing it in tablet mode.

2. Control Panel -> Display -> Screen Resolution, make sure Allow the screen to auto-rotate is checked

3. Services, make sure Sensor Monitoring Service is running (you can try stopping/starting manually to troubleshoot)

Let us know if it helps.

Regards,

Shashi

Hi Shashi,

1. Make sure you didn't inadvertenly press the screen rotation lock button (just next to the volume rocker) in tablet mode. Try toggleing it in tablet mode. I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN BY VOLUME ROCKER

2. Control Panel -> Display -> Screen Resolution, make sure Allow the screen to auto-rotate is checked THERE IS NO ALLOW THE SCREEN TO AUTO-ROTATE ON MINE.

3. Services, make sure Sensor Monitoring Service is running (you can try stopping/starting manually to troubleshoot)

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET TO SENSIR MONITORING SERVICE.

Can you give me a link to chat with you.  What timezone are you in?  I am same as Brussels.

Thanks

George

You could also try this link for better understanding on auto rotate not working.

I was having same problem, and found the auto-rotate setting in: Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization -> Display -> Screen Resolution.

If you are still confused, you can contact Lenovo support here.
