Some early Yoga 900 systems may exhibit shorter than expected battery run time on a charge.  An updated BIOS and audio driver have been released and are available on the Lenovo support site, which should significantly improve battery life.

As this update will be introduced to manufacturing, newer Yoga 900 shipments will include the update.  Please check your installed BIOS and Audio driver versions and compare to the versions below to ensure they are these versions or later.  If they are, no further action is required.  If not, please update to the newest versions.

This is a 2-part solution and it is recommended that the BIOS be installed first, and then the audio driver.  Both updates must be applied to improve the battery performance.   The customer will need the latest BIOS and Audio driver from the Lenovo eSupport site.  Update BIOS to V32 C6CN32WW  or later and Audio driver to (6.0.1.7606) or later to improve the battery life performance.
