Yoga 900 charging

Can I charge my yoga 900 using a power pack? Such as this one, just in case I need to

https://www.amazon.co.uk/iClever-20000mAh-Starter-Battery-Flashlight/dp/B076CR28C3/ref=pd_vtph_tr_t_...

I am asking as I want to buy one of these, as i can charge devices and jump the car but would also like to be able to charge my yoga

Cheers

Re: Yoga 900 charging

Unfortunately not. The Y900 has a USB-C port but its implementation lacks the Power Delivery (PD) feature that's required for charging.

Re: Yoga 900 charging

The Yoga 900 and similar models use a mains charger with a proprietary USB 2 connector. That's the notch on one corner of the port. As far as I know neither Lenovo nor third party charger manufacturers offer a 12DC car charger with that connector. So yes, the only way to charge this system from a car is to use a 12VDC to 110/240VAC inverter.

Re: Yoga 900 charging

Just need to be doubley sure

Specifications
- Battery Capacity: 20000mAh / 74Wh
- Start Current: 400A (over 3s)
- Peak Current: 800A (over 0.5s)
- Input: USB-C, 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.5A, 15V/2A, 20V/2.25A
- Output: (QC3.0 & SmartID) USB *2, 3.6-6.5V/3A, 6.5-9V/2A, 9-12V/1.5A
(PD3.0) USB-C, 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/2.5A, 15V/2A, 20V/2.25A
DC 5.5*2.0 port, 12V/10A

So the usb2 output can be 9-12v/1.5A

What does the power pack supply the yoga

The mains charger that comes with the Y900 provides 20VDC/2A to recharge the system (or 5VDC when used as a USB charger.) Have a look at the plug that goes into the side of the system. While it looks like a USB 2 plug, it actually has a small notch that prevents it from going into a standard USB socket. Also the plastic spacer inside the plug is orange. Inside that plug are some extra pins that supply the 20VDC that the Y900 needs for recharging.

I don't see any of this in the specifications of power pack you linked-to.
