Yoga 900 - external monitor issues

2017-05-24, 8:04 AM

Hello,

I do have a strange issue which is getting rather annoying now.

Using my Yoga mostly with external monitor (USB-C) attached, once I disconnect (using it laptop only for some time) and then reconnect again the scaling (usually 150%) most of the time gets messed up. Especially the Office applications get blurry, scaling in Windows Explorer sometime is simply like 200%.
I have tried reset to default, update with Lenovo drivers, the Intel original drivers are somehow not supported.

Any hint, or sharing your experience is highly appreciated!

Best,

Beniamin

Hello Benjamin_l

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Have a go at trying to download the Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Have checked all drivers, if up to date (from the support homepage).

Updated the display & chipset drivers, no success so far.
