I'm interested in buying a Yoga 900, fact is I have nearly made up my mind. One issue is that I really need to use external displays, on the road for presenting, but this is easy. At home I want to hook it up to my KVM (requires VGA) and cabeled internet connection. For home use, I've been considering a USB-C adapter from Startech, the DKT30CHV: https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-USB-C-Multifunction-Adapter-Laptops/dp/B01EKARUUS/ref=sr_1_19?ie...
What do you think, should I go with this or with a more standard USB 3.0 based port replicator? Will the above work? Anyone who tested? I have not had a USB-C equiped device yet, so I am a bit unsure.
My alternative is something like the Startech USB3SDOCKHDV:
The latter is more expensive, but I guess that is because the latter has "it's own" video adapter. What do you suggest? Which is the best / safest choise?
