Screen stays locked and no longer rotates. installing ITESHFU and running it as administrator reports: Can not Find Device! - 3
After the install attempt the Screen Rotation Lock setting is no longer available in Lenovo Settings.
How do I revive the screen rotate function (again)?

Hi there, Theking –
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
Monitors various sensors in order to expose data and adapt to system and user state. If this service is stopped or disabled, the display brightness will not adapt to lighting conditions. Stopping this service may affect other system functionality and features as well.
Sensor Monitoring Service is a Win32 service. In Windows 10 it is starting only if the user, an application or another service starts it. When the Sensor Monitoring Service is started, it is running as NT AUTHORITY\LocalService in a shared process of svchost.exe along with other services. If Sensor Monitoring Service fails to start, the failure details are being recorded into Event Log. Then Windows 10 will start up and notify the user that the SensrSvc service has failed to start due to the error.
Update us how it goes.

This has happened on mine too just recently. I have attempted to restart the Sensor Monitoring Service in Task Manager but it won't let me do so. Any help appreciated.

I was able to start the service from compter management. Alternatively you could Win+r and run services.msc. There you can enable and start Service Monitor Service.
