On the Internet, there as photos of QWERTY keyboards only. When I received my 900s, I was surprised by the strange AZERTY (french) keyboard layout of the 900s. Specifically by the srange combined left SHIFT and < keys.
It is not "sexy"and not practical (to type < ), I hope Lenovo will find a new layout for 900s successor.

I guess it boils down to where you buy it.
Did you purchase it directly from Lenovo or a retailer? I'm sure whichever it is, the seller must have put information about what keyboard layout it has.

I bought it from a local retailer in France. It does not provide photo nor information about the keyboard. It was a “out of the box” (bad) surprise.
Lenovo France does not provide 900S with AZERTY photo on its website.
By the way, I found a review at Pocket-Lint showing QWERTY keybord with merged keys too (SHIFT and backslash key)
