I am using a Yoga 910-13IKB, which by default comes with Hotkeys turned on (requires pressing Fn key for F1-F12 to work)
In the past I was able to turn them off using the BIOS and/or the Lenovo Vantage application.
My computer shut off unexpectedly and the Hotkeys were turned on again. When attempting to turn them off I came accross a brick wall of frustration:
1) The BIOS no longer has the option to turn off hotkeys
2) The Vantage application apparantely changed, and no longer has this option as well!
Am I supposed to be stuck with these Hotkeys turned on?? It's super uncomfortable working like this, I am a frequent F1-F12 user so this is incredibly annoying in my day to day work.
I'd appreciate any help.

Welcome to the Community
The Vantage team is already aware of the issue and the "new" version of Vantage has reportedly been withdrawn. You can uninstall Vantage, then reinstall the old version from the Windows Store or wait for the new version to be retooled.

Rolling back to the previous version does not work for me and for many people. I get the message that vantage has encountered a problem and to install or update the Lenovo System Interface Driver. This cannot be solved with uninstalling/reinstalling, even with running the metadata file as suggested in another post. So as I understand currently there is NO way to enable the hotkeys. I am stuck with the vantage beta version from the windows store and a BIOS that also does not have an option to trigger the hotkeys. This is very irritating and disappointing Lenovo!!!

Okay so ... followed instructions, re-installed OLD Vantage version & yes ... it works ... for awhile
At various times - usually when I turn off my computer but sometimes just when it's just asleep - hot keys reverts back to requiring Fn button
This means I have to wait for Vantage to start then reselect my preference ... that alone is a total pain but pair it with how long Vantage can take to start & it's REALLY annoying

What's wrong with this stupid application? Why is it showing me this screen?
I just want the fu**** F1-12 to work properly without the Fn key!! Is this too much to ask from my "dear" friends in Lenovo??

It is exactly the same for me and many people. This is a huge disappointment and it is the last time I will spend my money on a Lenovo laptop. Still a few months after and they cannot fix the new Lenovo app to include a simple functionality that was already included in the previous one!!! Amazing.
This topic for some reason it is market as Solved. It should NOT!
@LENOVO please let us officially know when the new Vantage app will be available or at least include this functionality in the BIOS!
