I have a Yoga 910 laptop for about 4 months now and everything has been working well until now. But since a couple of days, the delete and the prtSc keys do not work anymore.
I have tried with the PassMark keyboard test to see if it recognizes that the keys are pressed, but it seems that they are not. The Insert key, while not working in some cases (e.g Word, Notepad), it is recognized as being pressed during the test.
Did any others have the same issue? Is so, how could it be solved?
Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Acts1 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Connecting an external USB keyboard can further isolate if the same keys are not working.
If the issue is system based , then system restore may help as it jumps back toprevious working restore date..
Update us how it goes.

I have owned my Yoga 910 for about two weeks and now have a similar problem - the Delete key will not work on the laptop keyboard. The OSK works great, the external keyboard works great - but the laptop keyboard will not work. As suggested, I attempted a system restore and that also did not work.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Hi drjflies ,
Greetings.
You can check it with passmark or test it with another boot media like a live image .
If same issue then best to call in technical support for further option.

My 910 had the same problem as well. But I accidently found a solution while I check my keyboard functions with keyboard test software.
What I accidently did was i hit function key and then delete key (Fn+Delete) and then the delete key function normally again after that.
Hope it can solves your problem too

Thanks for the suggestion....I had forgotten about posting a reply.
I "finally" resorted to calling tech support and they were great. They had me shut down, make sure there was no residual power left in the computer, then go into the BIOS settings and basically reset the settings. After that everything worked.
I did have to go back and reset a couple of items once I verified that everything was working - but it was a quick procedure and it worked.
Hope this is helpful to others!!
