Re: Yoga 910 Not Supporting Miracast?
My new Yoga 910 says that it does not support receiving Miracast.
This is very annoying as one of the reasons I bought it is to project my Android phone on it.
Any solutions? Please help.

Hi, Amirgo –
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
For Miracast to work, these requirements must be met:
PC with the following:
Supported Intel graphics
Supported Intel® Chipset
WiFi adapter that supports Miracast
Latest Intel® Graphics Driver installed
A display (e.g. TV) that supports Miracast or a TV paired with a TV adapter that supports Miracast.
For Intel Wireless Display, check this system requirements.
More info:
Windows 8.1.features Miracast wireless display
Intel® WiDi installation for Microsoft Windows 8.1*
Update us how it goes.

Easy. Buy a Windows Phone. :)
Had to say that because that's what people say every time I complain about my PC. It's always "Buy a Mac!" So, I'm mostly kidding, though I DO like Windows Phones.
That said, the 910 doesn't do Miracast out of the box because the version of Win 10 it probably shipped with doesn't. The 910 has to take at least the Windows Anniversary Update, though now we're at Creators.
Then there are some settings to fool with, if this article is to be believed. Haven't tried it, myself, yet. Check that article out and see if you might have missed a step.
Thanks. Now I need to check the chipset on my Yoga 910...and I thought that Miracast is standard..
Thanks, but the article doesn't help. My android phone supports Miracast, but my Yoga tablet does not.
Is there maybe another app that I can use?
I am having same kind of problem (Lenovo Yoga 900) and this is really annoying. I hate that I have spent lots of money to this Laptop and one of the most useful feature of the PC is suddenly gone!!!
I am 100% sure this was working a month ago. Now, it is gone.... I tried the suggested solution and updated Intel Drivers and it does not solve the problem.
Please help. If you really care about your customers...
I had been projecting to my Yoga from an handphone for the past months, until last few days my Yoga showed a statement "The device does not support Miracast" and I am not able to project anything to my Yoga anymore. Please help, thank you.
regards...Wendy.

I Googled around a bit and, judging from the date of this article, a Windows Update may have broken Miracast in some systems. I never had it enabled on my 910, so the settings were greyed out. I had to install "Wireless Display" from the "optional features" dialog. It installed and the settings are no longer greyed out. I'll charge my old Windows phone and see if I can get it to work.
I'm on Windows 10 Home version 2004. If you installed 20H2, that might have something to do with it.
