I recently purchased a yoga 910 dark grey (07/2017) and to my surprise the shipping date is late December 2017 (18-20).
Did anyone else see a huge 4 month gap between purchase and shipment. Personally that is too long of a delay, even though accessories as stated to ship in a couple days.
Should I cancel? Or can customer service rush an order?
Ordering from Los Angeles.

This can different in every country and supplier, it may well be that the unit is yet to be in stock.
I would suggest the best option would be getting in touch with your retailer that you are trying to order from, and confirm the delay with the order.

During the sale this month I also purchased a dark grey Yoga 910 directly through Lenovo's site. When checking out it said usually ships in 1 to 3 days but on my status order it says it will ship on December 18th. Hopefully it's just a mistake but in all likelihood they oversold and won't be able to get them in for a while. It's currently afterhours so I cannot call but I'll let you know if I hear anything from them or if my order status changes.

Sorry to hear your experience with their customer service wasn't too great. When I was purchasing mine, after I added it to my cart it said the product was out of stock on the product page, suggesting that I purchased the last one. Most likely they had more listed on the product page than what they actually had in stock.
Thanks for the headsup about the 920. I need a new laptop for school and would like to have one no later than August, so I'll probably pass on the 920. Plus between the sale and the student discount I managed to save about $320. However, if the December date is somewhat accurate then I'll probably cancel my order like you.
