Yoga 910: how to swap FN function keys to just press F1 without Fn+F1

I know it was possible in the previous version of the Yoga, to restore the functionality of function keys (F1 etc) without having to press Fn first, but I don't see the option in the BIOS of the Yoga 910. How do I restore function keys to normal functionality?   Thanks.

Any thoughts on this?  Will there be a BIOS fix?  It's a very idiosyncratic keyboard without the fix -- afaik every other computer uses fn to get to proprietary functions only, not F1 - F12.

Solved!  They moved this from the bios to the Lenovo Settings app (though may require the latest BIOS update to see).

Incredible such a simple thing is imposible to achive with current BIOS ( 2JCN39WW ) and latest Lenovo Settings v3.169.0.0  won't recomend Lenovo to my customers anymore. And will avoid buying another Lenovo myself because of this annoyance.

This option is most certainly in 3.169.0.0 of the Settings app under the Input tab. If it's not working for you, you may be missing one of the system drivers.

Same here, the option is now missing from the lenovo settings app. It was there last week and now is gone.

Re: Yoga 910: how to swap FN function keys to just press F1 without Fn+F1

If you have updated to the latest Lenovo Companion (mine's at v4.5.3.0), that's where you'll find the setting now.

Hardware settings (on left) >> Input (on right) >> Function keys section

As you see noted in your screenshot, Lenovo Settings is merging into Lenovo Companion.

Hope this helps.

Regards.

Just a comment on Sarbin's post:

When you first install the Lenovo Companion App, it doesn't contains an Hardare section at all. It needs to update somehaow. For me it took, let's say around 20 minutes, I visited the Windows Store page a couple of times, closed/reopened Companion and rebooted, so I am not sure what did the trick exactly.

Sarbin, if you have more info about how the app is updated, some users will probably be happy to know about it.

Thanks for your post, it solved my issue.
