Yoga 920 -Cam privacy setting "on" can't toggle to "off"

Camera doesn't work. Camera Privacy setting "on". In other words, can't turn privacy off and camera access on.
Device Manager shows camera is working and driver is up to date.

In Lenovo Vantage "privacy" is on for camera and can't be turned off. ; All attempts to toggle  the  camera privacy setting to "off" fail: it shows a symbol spinning, and then reverts to privacy mode "on" every time. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling Lenovo Vantage, didn't help.

Windows 10 home 64 latest update. Maybe Win update caused this? Don't know?
Any ideas?

Have deleted and re-installed camera and driver. Didn't help.

See screen capture of setting:

Re: Yoga 920 -Cam privacy setting "on" can't toggle to "off"

"Latest version" of Win 10 for the 920 should be 1803 as it's on the blocked list for 1809. 1809 was a bit of a mess for many machines causing all kinds of unexpected behavior.

Re: Yoga 920 -Cam privacy setting "on" can't toggle to "off"

Thanks for your help.

That's interesting, as Windows Update installed 1809 on my 920.
But I found a workaround for my problem:
Managed to add Group Policy Editor to my Windows 10 Home and in the Camera settings was able to toggle the camera to "on". If you do a Google search there are a few ways to add the GPE to Home

Interestingly, all sorts of registry "hacks" I found for turning on the camera/turning off camera privacy didn't work. The group policy editor, did, though.
The screenshots you saw in my OP now all look as they should, and the functions buttons aren't greyed out.
