Yoga 920 - Dolby Atmos missing

2018-04-06, 9:48 AM

I am sure that Dolby Atmos was available in the Lenovo Yoga Settings (and also for Headphone) and i have tested it, and it was great.

But after some updates (Windows/Lenovo) i can't find the setting anymore.

On the Main Screen for Hardware you can see "Dolby" (see attached screenshot) , but there are no settings if i am inside the Audio Menü.

Does anybode know a solution?

I have the same issue, and the reason I found about this is that i started having audio issues. For example when i'm viewing a Youtube video, the volume decreases everytime I advance the video and it takes a second to buffer (load).

This only happened after updating the Drivers from lenovo's webpage.

@Erdemertan

no, solution.

At this a am not happy with the 920.

- Missing Dolby Atmos (i haven't installed any software - only the windows  + lenovo updates)

- Battery discharging when power is off. Minimum 10% in one week - Windows Hibernate deactivated, USB Ports (Charging) disabled, no devices connect.

I have found a solution.

I downloaded the 64Bit Driver from:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

It deinstalls first all audio drivers, then restart the machine and installed it new.

After another restart my dolby Atmos is available in the lenovo Settings.

0 person found this solution to be helpful.

This helped me too

I have the same issue. Your solution works, but after Update this driver through windows or lenovo the dolby audio app disapears.

same here. dolby audio app is missing and after every Windows update, it removes the application. plus Lenovo vantage auto-optimize for Dolby audio is not working.

I have another solution that just worked for me a couple of evenings ago.  Using Windows 10, go into "Microsoft Store Apps" folder, right click on "Dolby Access" and uninstall it.  Then, go into the Microsoft Store App online and download and install "Dolby Access" again and the feature will return.
