Yoga 920 - Lock function keys

When I press the F3 key, I need the Yoga 920 to interpret this as "F3" and not "Increase sound volume."

In the past, certain Lenovo notebooks had a BIOS setting that let you reconfigure the function keys to do just that.

I don't believe the Yoga 920 has this BIOS setting (why don't all Yoga models have a similar BIOS structure is beyond me).

I have an excellent Microsoft external keyboard that allows you to lock the function key, simply by pressing "Fn" (a small light turns on in the "Fn" key, similar to the "CapsLk" key.)

Any suggestions? It can't be this difficult, can it?

Re: Yoga 920 - Lock function keys

It's not. The setting is in Lenovo Vantage. Launch Vantage and navigate to Hardware Settings > Input

Re: Yoga 920 - Lock function keys

Hi, is there any way of making it work on linux (or any point for not including it in the BIOS for that matter)?
