So, due to the last comments, I finally bought a Yoga 920 (i7 with 16 GB RAM) and the Thunderbolt 3 Dock from Lenovo.
Although I was afraid of getting some trouble, everything was quick and easy! Simply plugged in the dock into the TB 3 port, accepted the shown "allow device" window and everything was working:
- Yoga's battery is loading
- Connected mouse and keyboard via a Logitech dongle
- Ethernet is working
- Three Monitors are working (1 x DP, 1 x HDMI and 1xVGA - laptop-monitor is off)
No need to update or install any drivers!

Has anyone tried the Lenovo USB C travel Dock?

Thanks! I ended up getting the D6000 also. Works great with 2 external 4K monitors (Dell p2815Q) connected by Display Port the laptop display stays on 4K (3840x2160) and 60 hz while the external monitors are 4K(3840x2160) and 30 Hz (I think these monitors were just 30Hz) . This also works with on DP and one HDMI for external monitors but the HDMI monitor is slow to connect and occasionally drops out.

Are you still glad you bought the TB3 dock to use with your Yoga 920? I just ordered the 920 with the USB-C dock and am thinking about cancelling that dock and getting the TB3 based on this thread.

Same question to you: Are you still glad you got the TB3 dock for use with your Yoga 920. Not knowing any better, I placed my order for the USB-C dock and based on this thread and seriously thinking about cancelling and replacing with the TB3.

I don't have the USB-C hub but only the Thinkpad Thunderbolt-3 dock.
Yes. I'm very happy with that TB-3 dock still.
I don't have 2 x 4K external display requirement to comment on that feature. But, I am happen with my setup (3 display total) as stated above.
I bought the Bestbuy 16GB / 500GB model for $1,449.99 when it was on-sale.
