Yoga 920 cannot see/connect/pair to Logitech Ultrathin T630 Mouse

2018-02-19, 15:28 PM

New Yoga 920 running Windows 10.  Windows 10 up to date, all drivers are up to date.  Bluetooth on Yoga laptop is functioning and connects to Yoga mouse and active pen.  It cannot, however, see my Logitech Ultrathin mouse (T630).  This mouse is visible and pairs/connects easily to my Dell Desktop and Dell Laptop, both also running Windows 10 but they are a couple of years old.  On my Yoga 920, the mouse is not visible.  It does not show up on the list of possible devices when bluetooth scans for devices.  It can't see it.

Respectfully, I believe he/she's trying to pair a bluetooth mouse. There's nothing to insert as it's handled by the 920's Qualcomm bluetooth radio. There's also no sound when bluetooth devices connect. At least, not on mine.

I'd suggest, first, making sure all drivers are up-to-date AND installing the latest BIOS for the 920. Current version is 5NCN36WW.

Next, check the documentation that came with the mouse and make sure you've installed Logitech's software (if any).

If that fails to solve the problem, use Device Manager to uninstall the bluetooth radio and reboot. Windows should catch that on the reboot and re-install it.

After that, I'm out of ideas.  Let us know how it goes.

Do you hear any "device plugged-in" noise when inserting it? Have you tried to switch the USB port?
