Yoga 920 hinge cylinders loose?

I just got my Yoga 920 today, and I just noticed that a few of the cylinders in between the actual watchband hinges are a little loose. Particularly the ones in between the 2 left most hinges which easily wiggles back and worth just from the slight friction of my fingers, no force at all

Is this normal? Any cause of concern for the future? Does it mean the hinge is loose? I have noticed by holding the laptop up, keyboard facing me, vertical, monitor facing the ground at 90 degrees horizontal, it will slowly close - is the hinge supposed to support the weight of the monitor? Thanks

Re: Yoga 920 hinge cylinders loose?

Hi kristina92,

Greetings.

This is not normal as well as the loose hinge on the left. It is expected to stand its form in all angle being a Yoga which I suggest that you report it with technical support.

They would be able to assess and provide recommendation as early as now. The specialized design of the hinges should afford to carry the weight of the display on all angles.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
