Yoga Book and 128GB cards

2017-11-10, 12:23 PM

Greetings to all.  We have a new Yoga Book which is great, however.

Mine will not accept 128GB SD cards regardless. I believe that they are supoposed to but mine does not.

I have tried 2 different cards, 1 formatted and 1 unformatted but the Tablet just refuses to see them.

Have I got this wrong in that they do not support 128GB cards or am I missing something?

Very Gratefull for the wisdom of those out there who know better than I.

Yoga Book YB1-X90F

Regards

Hi Bellepheron,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As per product specification:

Storage extension: Up to 128GB MicroSD

On similar discussion here: Yoga Book SD Card limitation had tried reformating the card similar to this guide here within Android system. Others would remarks on the topic may also help, such as to authorize user to access the card.

Update us how thing go.

Regards

Hi
Just tested a format with the Android Yoga Book on a 128GB Card (Samsung Evo Plus U3 128GB SDXC)
The result is a 64GB VFat (FAT32),
I expected a 128GB ExFat result due t0 the announcement ...

Can you assist?

I recently purchased a one terabyte SD card and it works fine in Lenovo
