Yoga C940 faulty keyboard

Hello everyone,


The PgDn key on my Yoga C940 has stopped working. The key looks fine and feels like it is mechanically operating ok but there is no response when it is pressed.

There has been no liquid or other damage to the keyboard.

The key does not work in any application, at the command prompt or safe mode.

When I connect an external keyboard to the USB port the PgDn button on the external keyboard gets a response.

I opened a repair ticket and they emailed me a long list of things to update and methods to try.

Nothing has worked. The key is still non-responsive.

It is obvious to me it is the hardware.

They have not responded to my requests for repair.

Lenovo has now closed the repair ticket as resolved which it is clearly not.


What is the best way to get Lenovo to act on this?

The machine is still under warranty.

I've had the same issue with a faulty battery. I took out a 3 year warranty but now they tell me the battery only has a year.


They just stop responding to your tickets if you ask too many questions.


Lenovo are wthout doubt one of the worst companies on planet Earth.
