I updated this summer only to find that my YP2 wouldn't play nice with the new operating system. I tried all the bug fixes, to no avail, so I removed Windows 10 and went back to 8. (Boo...)
I'm wondering if it's "safe" now to go ahead and upgrade... Anyone have success with a standard upgrade? I don't want to have to remove a lot of programs or change a lot of settings just to get minimal functionality.

I finally got around to updating my Y2Pro last week. I scheduled the upgrade, then applied some choice driver updates, namely BIOS, wifi, bluetooth, dptf while still Win 8.1. Went to my notebook a day or two after upgrade took place, and seemed to have mostly completed. After some final setup, the Win 10 desktop loaded.
BlueTooth was a huge problem. I tried numerous times with both 10 and 8.1 driver install/repair/uninstall/install/repair. I have a bluetooth mouse and the Bluetooth device selection under Win 10 was gone. It had also disappeared while updating driver in Win 8.1 so had some troubleshooting experience from that. At one point wifi wouldn't work, but came back under later repair. Finally got the Blue Tooth device selection back in Win 10 using Win 10 driver. Working for now, but not fun. Somebody should be shot for this, but it's been a long standing problem I understand.
For now desktop is stable, but honestly haven't run this thing through all the modes it can go yet. If problems, I'll start with more driver updates.

Hi BDearborn ,
Windows 10 is still on its development and as what its predecessors had, multiple updates had been rolled out as one of the biggest was the November update . Yoga 2 pro models are eligible for upgrade to windows 10 yet there may still be some things needed to be worked out.
Apply the usual offered updates for the standard Windows 10 so it would be able to create its own windows.old folder in case things would not work well for you then you can just decide on doing a rollback without reinstalling those apps .
Update us how things go.
