Yoga S730-13IWL - Dead/Stuck Pixel - Advice needed

Need a little bit of guidance here.

 

Grabbed one of these when they were on offer just after Christmas. Set it up and registered it on January 3rd with a view to either using it at the beginning of feb, or for a present for a relative.

 

I've switched the laptop on today to check everything was setup and ready to go and noticed what seems to be a dead/stuck pixel. On a white background it's red.

 

Where do i go with this? Kind of annoyed that i've forked out £699, and the things been sat in the box for 4 weeks to then find out it has a dead pixel.

 

Tried opening a service request but had an email back saying ' Unfortunately, your service request ID could not be created automatically by our system.'

 

Has anyone got any advice?

Welcome to the Community Forums.

 

You can check the pixel policy guidelines here which is most likely the same thing that tech support would ask.

 

Try giving them a direct call so that both parties can get this attended as soon as possible.

I've reached out to them on twitter too and theyve asked for photographs.

 

Just annoying that technically if i saw this on day one it would have been replaced. I'm hoping they'll fix or replace it?
