Yoga S730-13IWL battery is completely dead

2020-09-15, 13:11 PM

730-13IWL after 1 year of using it, when i unplug the adapter, notebook can turn off instantly. Lenovo Vantage reported the battery is highly degrated, pls replace your battery(after 1 year? seriously?) and now, after 3 more months, battery isn't charging anymore...Thank you Lenovo, its happened when  warranty has expired for 3 months.

Why its looks like happened deliberratly?

Hi Constantine73,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

I would not assume that things are deliberate as all manufacturer do wish they have customers satisfaction at most.

Individual parts do also have separate manufacturer like the battery and may just be an isolated case.

With all drivers and BIOS updated, then it may need replacement as recommended as it a consumable part.

Regards
