Re: Yoga not finding bluetooth devices

Neither of my bluetooth devices (iPad, Android phone, remote speaker) is recognized by my new Yoga PC. Bluetooth is on. I go to add new device and the scan starts, but without results. Bluetooth is on on the remote devices and I can see the speaker from both iPad and Android phone. Any advice ?

TIA

Niels

Re: Yoga not finding bluetooth devices

Hi

Thanx for reply, but I seem unable to follow your instructions. Below shown (in danish, I´m afraid) the screen shown when pressing win+C and going to devices. It only offers me to add another screen:

translation:

"Devices"

"Desktop"

"Nothing can be sent from the desktop"

And at the Icon: "Add another display".

So this is just for sending the screen to another display.

What I tried yesterday was this:

Right-click on bluetooth icon in taskbar from the desktop (not metro)

Chosing "Add bluetoot device"

This starts the device-scan, which runs for for about 15 seconds, but ended saying: "No devices found" trying several times.

HOWEVER: trying again today, everything worked out just fine, and the speaker was found and paired correctly. It just seems that the bluetooth transmitter is quite week and only covers a very short distance (about two meters), compared to my other devices. Don't know if this is temporary, but will report back.

Sorry for any inconveniance.

/Niels

Yoga not finding bluetooth devices

Re: Yoga not finding bluetooth devices

Hi NHertz,

Welcome to the Lenovo Community,

I’d like to guide you to add a device for your Bluetooth devices,

Step1: Please open the charm menu (by pressing on windows button and letter c together and then you will get the charm menu)

Step2: Choose Devices from the left panel and then press on Add a device and it will be searching for devices and then press on your device name,

Step3: You are supposed to get a message on your device and the laptop asking to press yes (pair) to accept the connection.

Hope the information helps. Let us know.

Regards

Soha

Re: Yoga not finding bluetooth devices

I actually saw this issue with a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. The odd thing was that it did appear on the first try, but couldn't connect. I haven't been able to get it to appear back since.
