Yoga2Pro "power adapter may lower system performance" - it's their adapter!

2014-03-28, 20:48 PM

I get a pop-up when I plug in the power adapter to my Yoga2Pro:  "The connected power adapter cannot suply enough power.  Use of this power adapter may lower system performance."  And a link to take me to the Lenovo store and buy a new adapter.  :smileyfrustrated:  Thing is:  this is all fresh out of the box.  The Yoga2Pro, and the power adapter that came with it.  Adapter is Model Name ADLX65SDC2A.

I did update the Energy Manager driver.  Task Manager tells me that it's Energy Manager producing the pop-up.  I've explored the EM settings, but don't see anything that I could change.

Welcome to the family. If I were you, I would return the computer. The problem you face is not normal.
