Yoga920 WLAN and Bluetooth not connected / PCI Express Root Port #5 9D14

Suddenly Bluetooth and WLAN devices are no more connected to the system.

Seems trouble with Intel Chipset driver:

-> Intel I/O PCI Express Root Port #5 9D14 has CODE 45 (not connected)

-> Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A is also not connected CODE 45

 

Tried latest Chipset driver (10.1.1.45) and WLAN (12.0.0.455) as well as Bluetooth driver => no success.

 

Disabl WLAN in BIOS - STARTUP - Shutdown - Enable WLAN in BIOS  => no success.

 

Please let me know whether this is a driver issue - and which one!?

 

I did not install any auxiliaries or any new software during last weeks.

Welcome to the community forums.

 

Please try uninstalling the WIFI and Bluetooth driver first and install the latest drivers including the BIOS. Download it here: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6. Let us know if this works.

Hello,

 

i just tried both: the new Bios (from 5NCN36WW to 5NCN41WW) and the new drives - no change.

Just worse: since tuesday it is impossible to use the internal graphics card and the display of the notebook.

 

I am afraid I have to send the device back to lenovo.

Thanks for updating us.

 

Bluetooth are integrated in Wi-Fi in the Yoga 920 as per the PSREF below,

In that case, the issue could be with the Wi-Fi card itself. It would be best to contact our support at +49 201 22099 888 / option 2 / 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday for repair options.

Hello,

 

my system has now returned from lenovo service

(processing number 7027625581 - replaced hardware:

5B20Q09639 MB L 80Y7 WIN I7-8550 UMA 16G & 01AX713 Wireless CMB LTN NFA344A M2)

 

Now on first startup I detected that the internal speakers don't work:

either on lenovo diagnostic tool nor on any media player.

The 3.5mm jack works fine - no sound with internal speakers.

USB sound card (Steinberg UR22) works well.

As far as I am an experienced user I can exclude that this is a software issue.
