add more hardware to my laptop

hello, I have Yoga 510-14IKB Laptop, it's very nice, and I'm very comfortable with it, but I need better hardware.


is there any way to add more rams and GPU and better video card? and if there is a way, am I need to go to care center? where should I find lenovo care in riyadh?

Welcome to the forum.


From what I can see in the documentation there is one slot for RAM. If your Y510 model came with 4GB RAM then you could replace this with a 16GB RAM module. There is no way to upgrade the GPU because that chip is soldered to the motherboard.


Also if your Y510 came with a hard disk drive (HDD) you could replace it with a solid state drive (SSD) to improve performance.

It may be possible to add an external video adapter via a USB port however that would only work with an external monitor, not the built-in display.
