Hi my yoga 2 pro looses a lot of battery when off I turned off the USB charging and that doesn't seem to help if I don't use the laptop for a few days it will go completely dead - is this normal ? I have 4 other laptops and I can leave them off and unplugged for weeks and they still hold their charge
Are you specifically powering off the device or just closing the lid? Do you know if you are properly going into standby if you are closing the lid?

Yes I am powering it off and it is still loosing battery very fast
It sounds like a failed battery to me if it won't hold a charge when not in use. How does the battery last when you are using it? 5-6 hours or so?

I would also like to know what the issue is. We have two Yoga 3 Pros that have the exact same issue. The battery when charged works for a while. We don't use them very often. I will charge it full and power it off completely. When I go to use it maybe a week later the battery is dead and I have to plug it in to power it on. Somehow even when it is powered down fully it is draining the battery. I do not think it is the battery but rather something in the design or perhaps a defect. Anyone else have any ideas?
