Hi shockj2000!

Welcome to the Lenovo Community Forums!

Are you getting an error message? Could you please share us with a picture of the error message and the BIOS settings for us to further check? What was the preloaded OS? We'd love the opportunity to help with this.

Re: bios update lenovo yoga 710-11ikb

Please access BIOS again and tell us if the hard drive is detected under Information tab. Post here the exact model if you see it. Once done, load default settings by pressing Fn + F9 then save and exit by Fn + F10. Once it is restarting, keep on pressing F12 for boot menu and select the driver where the OS is installed.

So it loads into boot menu still it shows the HDD samsung MZNTY128HDP-000L2 and i tab over to app menu and  select setup. I did the FN F9 and FN F10 then hit F12 on reboot and it goes straight to the boot menu again.

Re: bios update lenovo yoga 710-11ikb

How about when you did not press the F12 key when the laptop is booting up? Does it have the same error message showing on the screen? If it does the same thing, the last option that I can recommend is to reinstall the Windows 10 OS. This will also help us isolate the issue if it has something to do with hardware malfunction.

Yes, that is possible. Try to reinstall the OS using Novo Button. Note that this will delete all of your files in your laptop. Update us.
