i bought yoga 13 6month ago.
although i have had no exchange of battery , Eergy Managemant says "genuine battery not attached" recently.
and alart showsup alltime when system boot.
battery charge normaly,but alart is irritating....
any help? thx

Since you're still under warranty, did you sent the unit for service to replace the battery?
Have you tried to:
1. Uninstall the Lenovo Energy Management in Control Panel (large icon view) > Programs and Features and reboot
2. Re-install the Lenovo Energy Management software below and reboot
Lenovo Energy Management for 64-bit Windows
Let me know your findings,

I have the same problem. alert just poped up one day and since i can't charge my yoga (stuck at 31%)
Have tried the to reinstall energy management but it didn't change a thing

I had a client bring in a Yoga 13 with the same problem: Plugged in, but not charging and "Unauthorized battery" message, even though it was the original battery that shipped in the computer.
Tried uninstall/reinstall Energy Management to no avail.
What worked was to follow the Service Manual to the point of disconnecting the battery pack, let it sit for a few minutes, reconnected, reassembled and it is now charging again and shows genuine battery.
