touchpad not optimal on Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14ITL05

I bought this new laptop, the trackpad works, but not optimally. I have especially problems with the 2 finger scrolling, because half of the time it thinks I don't want to scroll, but just move up my cursor. I already changed the settings to maximal sensitivity, but it didn't help.

Also, on rare, but too often occasions, the cursor just lags or hangs, I never experienced this with my older Asus, is it something normal of this Lenovo? Because if this is normal I just will return it to the shop. It shouldn't happen on a new laptop with 11th generation intel i7.

Welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for posting here!

Please launch the Lenovo Vantage app on your Yoga Slim 7 laptop then search for "System Update" to look for driver updates and download/install it to the device then test the touchpad again.

Also, search if there's an available Windows OS update for the Yoga Slim 7 laptop and download/install it as well.

Click on this link to see the steps on how to check for updates.

Provide here as well your device's MTM (machine type-model) number for us to check its specifications.

It can be seen through the device's label/sticker or its original packaging and does usually have a format of 8********R as an example.
