windows 10 2004 - Power Plans Have Been Deleted - Yoga C740

2020-05-31, 5:13 AM

Hello,

Before updating to Windows 10 2004, I had to change the Registry Key CsEnabled from 1 to 0 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power to enable other power plans but now it is no longer possible in this version, the CsEnabled key no longer exists and, even creating one, there is no effect.

Yoga C740-15IML Laptop (Lenovo) - Type 81TD
Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit (10.0, Build 19041) (19041.vb_release.191206-1406)

Memory RAM: 12GB
Storage: Intel H10 512GB+32GB Optane

Did your sleep mode work well before this past update with CsEnabled set to 0? That screwed up sleep mode on basically all my laptops that support Connected Standby. I'd suggest to post this in a Windows 10 forum tho since I doubt something OS related like this will be known in a Lenovo sub.

Apparently it worked well, I didn't notice anything unusual during the period of the change. I made a post in Windows 10 forum already to get some support.

Thank you.
