I have no idea how to PM somebody, but would like the updated Yoga wireless drivers.  How do I PM?

I can confirm that the drivers provided by NINE and the ones provided by diecast are the same drivers. Here is the information on the WiFi Drivers:

Driver Provider:      Realtek Semiconductor Corp.

Driver Date:            1/18/2013

Driver Version:       1021.6.118.2013                  <~~ Last 7 numbers = date?

Driver Signer:         Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

Review:

As of writing this post, I have only been able to test the drivers for about 2-3 days. From what I can see, the drivers allow the wireless card to connect at slightly higher speeds than before.

The drivers I get from the Lenovo Support site dated in December 2012 ranged from 12 Mbps - 48 Mbps, usually landing in the 28 Mbps zone. The current 1/18/2013 dated drivers range from 12 Mbps - 58 Mbps, and I feel that it is consistently getting connection speeds of 42 Mbps - 48 Mbps.

EDIT:

For those looking for the WiFi drivers and do not wish for a reply PM from NINE or diecast, mikey94025 posted the download link at the notebookreview forums curtesy of Diecast17. Give them props if they helped you.

I have been using the new drivers (dated 1/18/13) and have seen no difference.  If I move more than six feet away from the router I lose connection.  I changed the setting to those suggested by NINE and still the same thing.  There has to be a solution to this frustration.  Why won't Lenovo just admit these are faulty units and offer to replace or repair them?  Spending a thousand dollars on a tablet and have it not work is ridiculous!!

You can try 2 things, Try a different wireless router ( I know some stores like Staples will let you return up to 14 days if you don't like it), or send it in for repair.

I would try the router first! What kind of router are you using now?

We have Verizon Mifi 4510 L. We travel allot in our 5th wheel so this is more convenient for us as it is mobile. I also have a Vaio laptop and have no problems whatsoever in any part of the house. My husband also has a laptop (Vaio) and can use it in any room. The Yoga works great as long as I am close to the mifi but when I move away from it the signal weakens. I have checked the settings on the mifi to make sure everything is correct. My husband also called Verizon to check to see if everything was set correctly. The mifi will allow up to five computers to connect. Not sure what else to try.

NINE,

Made the recommended changes, litterlaly less than a  minute after making the changes, my wireless disconnected. I wasn't able to even complete this post before it happened again.

It seems like it disconnects more when I am acutally using it than when it is sitting.  As the last couple days when leaving is sit while at the office I have come home and it is still connected when I open it back up and log in.  And it is not resting the interface on its own when the connection goes down.
