yoga 2 13 pro bios

Hello all!

I purchased a yoga 2 13 pro and the mobo went bad. After being told by support that the mobo is no longer available, I replaced it with the exact motherboard I found on ebay. Upgraded it to Windows 10 and upgraded the bios. The bios stated "Get EC part information fail". Did a product detection. It stated it was a yoga 2 pro.

What caused me to investigate is that the sensors  for rotation are not rotating the screen properly.

Is there anyway to fix this?

Re: yoga 2 13 pro bios

Hi geekmarine ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Verify that your system board was intended for Yoga 2 Pro for your BIOS update as it would be different from a Yoga 13 , not using the SN but instead type the name directly. This would allow us to proceed from the message we encountered similar to this discussion

With the auto rotation , once BIOS and system drivers are properly installed as the rotation board cables are in place to follow suggested steps in this post.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
