Ever since I updated windows 10 to creator's update I've had freezing problems with my notebook. It occurs anytime I do ANYTHING connected with my web camera, display and audio settings. It's not random - I can recreate the freeze. I've updated my bios to the latest version, and every device driver from the Lenovo web site for my product, and every necessary driver from Intel and windows 10 update. I also used Lenovo one step recovery to go back to the original factory settings and began applying all of the windows 10 updates since 11/2015. I got as far as version 1079, and began having some windows update issues and that process was consuming too much of my time. So, I decided to restore everything back to where I was before one step recovery - meaning I can still 'make' my notebook freeze on demand if I try to change the dispay settings, adjust the volume or try to use the webcam. Anybody have any similar problems and resolve them?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
A couple of other posts about similar crashing and black screen issues report that updating the BIOS has been able to resolve the issue.
Make sure to backup your important files.
However, unfortunately others the issue was not so simple, they have sent off their units to the repair centre and had their motherboards replaced by the repair team.
So if the BIOS update doesn`t help, I would recommend that you get in touch with your local Lenovo support line and request a repair from them,
Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
