Re: How to stop smb.conf from being rewritten every time ?

Hello fairP,

If you are manually modifying the SMB.conf file in LifeLine OS, the changes will be lost after the unit is reboot.  This is due to how Samba is intergated into the core of the OS.  If you need to modify your unit's SMB settings, please contact your regions support and request the custom config sdk application.  This will allow you to make changes via the app's scripting and remain persistant.

Thank you
