Don't get your hopes up, I still have all of those issues that you describe after updating to 2.3. It does make the phone faster but you get a lot more random shutdowns. It also fails to fix the fragmentation issues with the SD card, so I still must copy all of the data from my SD card and reformat it then copy the data back about every 2 weeks otherwise the phone becomes so slow it is unusable (2-3 minute delay on every single action). Sadly I think the main purpose of this phone is simply to teach you not to buy motorola products.

It is VERY stranger that countrys with a larg amount of customers like Brasil and Argentina, doesn't receive the update to 2.3.4
It is disapointing to think that Motorola, doesn't care about us, in south america.
hope to get this update soon.

I think that page is out of date. my Xoom has 3.2 and I'm in Australia, yet that page says it should only have 3.1

Almost 1 month has passed since the original rollout (Europe).
Is it possible that there is still no any news on asia retail phones?
C'mon Motorola. Should i send back my phone to you and ask for one which i will be able to update?

Sad to say that this official Motorola states:
